Originally from London, James T. Bartlett has been a freelance journalist since 1999 and has been living in Los Angeles since 2004. As a true crime expert he has appeared on Ghost Adventures, The UnXplained with William Shatner, and many podcasts.
His true crime book The Alaskan Blonde: Sex, Secrets, and the Hollywood Story that Shocked America, a reexamination of a scandalous film-noir style murder in 1953 territorial Alaska was nominated for an Anthony Award (and won a National Indie Excellence Award), and his short story “Under The Stars” was selected for the 2023 Sisters in Crime – Los Angeles anthology, Entertainment To Die For.
